The Last Knit

This explains why I have unfinished knitting around here.
That period between projects is objectionable.

Dances with Coyote

I saw this blog by Shreve Stockton yesterday morning,
it's really a great one.

Reminded me of me, AND of some of you...

The Daily Coyote

No matter what you think about coyotes and sheep,
or having a wild animal in the house,
I saw this is a beautiful love story.

Patriotic Stars Bag, Part 1

Just one of the things I'm actually working on, besides "real" work, where I had to repackage numerous Language Arts sets to go into circulation. Took 4 hours just to do 6 of them. I think I could be pretty good with bootlegging AV stuff, cause I can sure make a nice package.

I decided to do a "Patriotic Stars Bag" designed by Carol Ventura.
The "star" point is just starting to widen.

I decided my country would be represented by Bottle Green and Tangerine. Woohoo! Okay, these colors aren't looking great here, but when I get closer to finished, I'll take it outside for a photo shoot.

Oh my, I finished something else!

Light Green on Dark Patons Shetland Chunky

I know, I know, it's not much, but at least I'm doing something!

I'd gotten a couple done last month, but this one,
I finished just a few minutes ago.
One more thread to hide, and it will be outta here.

You are The Wheel of Fortune

Good fortune and happiness but sometimes a species of intoxication with success

The Wheel of Fortune is all about big things, luck, change, fortune. Almost always good fortune. You are lucky in all things that you do and happy with the things that come to you. Be careful that success does not go to your head however. Sometimes luck can change.

What Tarot Card are You?

Mike Luckovich's Year in Review

One of my favorite political cartoonists is Mike Luckovich. Click on his name for the link to his top 10 cartoons of 2007.
My favorite is the one above, titled, "Play Democrat."

Again, this is true.

You Are Modernism
You tend to be oriented toward the future and technology.
You like art that signals how the world might change in radical ways.
As far as art goes, everything in the past is obsolete - and it's time to carve a new path.
You prefer art that doesn't follow any rules - even if the art doesn't make much sense.

I FINISHED SOMETHING!!! Art Sunday

Crocheted bag, 8 x 15". Wool/cotton blend crochet thread.
Rayon lining.
11/2007

I have just finished this up last week, it's for ME!
Small knitting bags for carrying socks and other small projects are very useful.
I know, I've learned how to knit socks standing up,
it keeps my "balls" from running off while I wait
in these long December checkout lines...

Here's what's kind of funny, after going to "Wickedly Innocent"'s blog (she's hosting Art Sunday this week), I think this accidently wintery colored bag actually includes some of her favorite colors!
